YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH !!!! FINALLY !!!!

Now this is something I've been waiting for a long time. Since we've learned Bruce Dickinson was back with Iron Maiden we've been dying here waiting for this new CD. Finally we've got it and I can tell you one thing : It was worth the wait. Now before we start let's salute these gods of metal : for years they've touched our hearts and inspired countless bands. No one can deny that without Maiden today's metal would be something else... they were the pioneers of the new metal generation. And they are doing it again with this album and let's hope countless more to come.

So Maiden are back in force with an album that is simply a masterpiece !!! Even though I'm not as big fan as my brother is, these years I rediscovered Maiden and it became one of my favorite bands. Let's talk about the music itself : Bruce is the master we all know he is... nothing to say here, it sounds like Maiden again ! The 3 guitars add some depth to the songs and make this record a very special one. Of course typical guitar melodies like only Maiden can deliver are present on this album, but there's just more to it this time. Originality is omnipresent, and though it still sounds like the past it also contains many hopes for the future sound of Iron Maiden. I must say I'm amazed that a legendary band like Iron Maiden can come back with such a killing record. I'm not saying it's the best album, but it's amongst the best ones like Somewhere Out In Time, Seventh Son Of The Seventh Son and The Number Of The Beast.

The artcover is simply the best artcover this year to my opinion ! And represents exactly the contents : it's still Iron Maiden, then it's also something new, something futuristic, that prepare us for the future sound of Iron Maiden !

This is a buy-or-go-straight-to-hell-album for EVERY metal fan !! Long live Iron Maiden !!!!

Killing Songs :
All, but my favorites are : Blood Brothers, Fallen Angel & The Wickerman
