After 2 long years (thanks again to Guillaume for this correction)
and believe me it was really TOO long, they are back and they scream
loudly to who wants to ear it: We Are Motörhead !!!
Nice shot guys. Except Kiss' Psycho Circus (and Gods knows how much
I love Kiss), I am impressed by this old heavy metal heroes (Motörhead,
AC/DC, Iron Maiden). They are still here, delivering unbelievable
albums.
Not only good records, but also becoming heavy metal heroes again
to a "brand-new" generation of metal fans.
And just for this reason, Motörhead, AC/DC and Iron Maiden deserve
our respect.
Now let's talk about this new record : it starts with a very good
fast song "See Me Burning", a typical Motörhead song.
Song number two is much slower and also less interesting, by far the
weakest song of this record (I cannot afford the chorus). By the way,
I am wondering why they have put this song on position number two
??? But the good MotörHead is back on all the rest of this record.
Third song starts with a Sinner riff (I didn't believe it on first
listening) but after a few second, guitar riffs change a bit to become
a more Motörhead head banging riff.
With "God Save The Queen", "Out To Lunch" (monster
song), Wake The Dead (it will!) and "We Are Motörhead",
the band has released an excellent album. Even the ballad "One
More Fucking Time" is a very cool song.
Pure traditional Motörhead metal from one of the monster of rock.
If only track No2 could have been avoided !!!
