Surprise of the month

.Before I start this review I need to mention this : I hate rap.

This Atlanta-based quartet have transformed from one of the first heavy guitar-driven "rap-core" bands into an overall hard rock band. Their latest and fourth full studio release, Declaration Of A Headhunter, is a mixture of rap and hard rock. Full of melodies and hooks, the mixture of two "aliens" style is working perfectly. Stuck Mojo has added amazing guitar work, great backing vocals (may be too commercial for early fans) and all songs are really catchy and melodic.

Declaration Of A Headhunter is a real surprise for me. When I hit the play button for the first time, I was sure I will hate this record. Not at all ! This release is one of the catchiest hard rock/rap I have ever heard. Of course, as I said at the very beginning, I hate rap. So I guess that some early fans of Stuck Mojo will not appreciate this "commercial step". I do.
