Surprise of the month

Pfou, what a slap in my face !!! Metallica (first years) is back and ... full of melodies. A monster of melodic thrash, a demonstration, a lesson to all those new thrash bands who think they have invented something. With this album, Paradox has placed the bet very high now. If those band want to succeed playing thrash, I highly recommended to judge their "compo" to this Collision Course first. The cover art speeches itself : a "bombastic nuclear thrashy record". And if you don't explode your poor neck on the first song Collision Course ( Metallica meets Blind Guardian), I guess nothing will break it.

Well for those of you who don't know Paradox, those guys were quiet well known at the end of the 80's and were compared as the "German Metallica". But other influences have entered in Paradox's music nowadays : Iced Earth or Blind Guardian. I have read that this album sounds as the following of Master Of Puppets. Somehow I agree ... but we could also say this is the "brother of arms" of Iced Earth Night Of The Stormrider. I let you judge by yourself. I agree Metallica or the all Thrash Bay Area is alive in this unbelievable album. Paradox has simply released the best thrash album we were waiting since months, years, decades. Let melodic thrash Reign In Blood !!!
