The Sins Of Thy Beloved is another "Beauty and the Beast"-style band. Nice female vocals opposed to the gargoyle-voice of the male singer. But why change a recipe that works so well?

Its originality, The Sins Of Thy Beloved finds it elsewhere. For example in the very nice (real) violins (wonderful in "Nebula Queen") or in the original keyboards: "The Mournful Euphony" starts with a trance-like volume gated pad and continues with harpsichord! Guitars are usually quite heavy but never cover up the rest of the music. Finally, the cover from Metallica, "The Thing That Should Not Be" is an excellent conclusion.

A very nice release that will please those who apreciate this style.
