Album of the month

Welcome back, Rolf !!! First surprise : "Victory" is quiet "slower". Second surprise : melodies takes more time to enter in your brain, BUT once the songs are printed in your mind, they stays forever. Melodies are Running Wild "home made" and you recognize immediately the "Rolf cavalries". Songs are a little more complex in their constructions and there are no "boring moments". The more you listen "Victory", the more your head is trapped in this electric battle of guitars and solos. Chorus lines are really great and the complexity of the song-writing gives more life time to the overall album. With "Masquerade" I thought that Rolf was starting to turn around, but with "The Rivalry" (previous album) the band reached a turning point. "Victory" is a new masterpiece from our "pirate" band and even the Beatles's song "Revolution" is a very well done cover, "à la" Running Wild of course. Last surprise : the overall sound is great (it will blow up your speakers) !!!

Killing Songs :
When Time Runs Out, Revolution, Tsar, Victory.
