Surprise of the month
I bought this record in Germany this summer following an excellent quote made by the famous German metal magazine RockHard. In fact, I bought it blindly. I only notice that those guys were singing in Spanish when I put it in my CD player.
It took one second to realize I will not understand a single word of this Tierras de Legenda. One the other hand, it took me the same second to immediatly appreciate this melodic heavy metal. To resume it in three words : Spanish Iron Maiden.

The guitars solos are flowing from everywhere, always melodic and after a few plays, I was surprised to "almost" sing in Spanish while head banging! Those guys have done the right choice : I prefer to hear a singer "excelling" in Spanish and not a vocalist "killing songs" with an awful accent (no ... you will get no name). Everything in this bombastic true metal record is heavy and sounds so great. Hyper melodic to the bones my friends!

Well I guess that only open mind metal fans will really like it. I guess also that Spanish metal fans are killing their neck with this second Tierra Santa's record and that Spain have already elected Tierra Santa as Metal Gods 2000. In terms of melody & song writting, this is a killer. Nice surprise, nice Spanish surprise! After Italy, another Mediterranean country enters the true heavy metal arena. We welcome you Tierra Santa.
