Mhh... as soon as I had put the CD I had this strange impression that I wouldn't like it... was it the annoying keyboard sound that comes again and again usually in prog release, or the song writing that I really found to rock/jazz oriented. I dunno, but aside from a couple of good standard 80's Hard Rock songs I must say that I'm not attracted to this record, there's much better out there, especially these days.

The band is actually a project it seems, with two lead singers, and good ones actually, no problem here. When it's 80's Hard Rock it sounds quite okay, but when we drift to jazz influence or too much organ like keyboard is used it tend to get on my nerves. Not to mention keyboard solos... u know :) ! Very good musicianship, nice choirs, but the song writing is too classic, too american maybe (no offense). So in the end only a couple of songs and a ballad maybe are interesting, fortunately the vocal is very good and so is the production, but for me it's not enough to save the day.

Definitely I try before you buy release, the keyboards used as organ really is something I can't bear, it doesn't mean you won't like it. But even so it's hardly original, so better try it first.
