Probably the most well-known gothic metal band, Type O Negative celebrates its 10 years of existence with a best-of (or should I say least-worst?).

This best-of put the emphasis on the most recent albums (October Rust & World Coming Down). I was quite satisfied with the selection of the songs since all my favorites are there. Most of them in an alternate edit (meaning shorter) or even remixed version.

The fans will appreciate the rare tracks and the 2 previously unreleased songs taken from the recording sessions of "World Coming Down".

If you are part of the musically-challenged people who don't know Type O Negative yet it's a great way to discover the band (or alternatively I would recommend the "World Coming Down" album). The fans will off-course love it (after all they are fans and this is a best-of).
