Ram-Zet started as a one-man project in 1998 by Zet who's been playing in a lot of different metal bands in Norway before this. Zet is doing all the male vocal's, guitar and keyboards in this band.

Lot of different stuff influences their music and sound: from black metal to power metal, Ram-Zet has added also different "noises and loops" that makes them sound a bit strange and also a bit industrial.

I like the voice of Zet (who reminds me sometimes Brian Johnson "à la" black metal) and even though there are a lot of break in their songs, the overall is fresh and new. They also used a couple of ladies for the choir (excellent again) and the keyboard is more used to create strange and different sounds. At the end, it is quite difficult to put them in a particular metal style, as Ram-Zet mixes thrashy riffs, females vocals, aggressive black metal vocals and Pure Therapy is also atmospheric from time to time. They define their music as "black" psychotic power metal. That's a quiet good image actually.

I will not be surprised to see Cradle of Filth's fans jumping on this record, even though Ram-Zet's music is much more futuristic, industrial and less aggressive compare to COF. Try before of course, but I could bet you're gonna like this one.
