Silencer was formed in 1998 and hailed from Denver, Colorado USA. This band has its own path to play excellent thrash metal, melodic to the bones and Keith Spargo, Silencer's vocalist, is really excellent on Kozmos. From Forbidden to Anthrax, without forgetting early Iced Earth or Nevermore, Silencer delivers a fantastic EP and this is "just a taste of what they have in store".

Kozmos is a five songs EP (what a shame!!!), but for me, this is one of the best US thrash metal "demo" I have heard since ...

Imagine the classical thrash mixed with typical heavy metal stuff (WASP / Twisted Sister). As I said above, it is very melodic and Silencer play in the "pro thrash league". I cannot imagine what would have been this bombastic record with a "crystal clear" production.

A rocky is born. After Iced Earth, may be the first "innovative" band coming from "Uncle Sam". Now that I tasted the intro, please give me some more with a full record AS soon as possible. Thanks!!!
