Third effort by Haste. This band plays typical hardcore, following every step written in each "hardcore lesson book". Even though they try to put alternative sound in their music, When Reason Sleeps is unfortunately for Haste the most conventional and boring hardcore album I have listen to so far.

Ok, they are some funny "violate vocals" and some aggressive riffs (have they used two riffs for this record ???), but I have heard that a million times before from this scene. Off Parting Sound & To My Last Breath reminding me somehow the Swedish death metal scene, but that doesn't save the buck.

Now I have to admit I am not to much into this music style, but my overall feeling is that this album repeats very much itself. Only for fans who wants to have everything in the genre ... I prefer to hear Papa Roach or Stuck Mojo instead of this "sleeping thing".
