Surprise of the month

Lullacry is a special, fresh and outstanding act from Finland that will leave a mark on atmospheric heavy music scene of our current time. Between Paradise Lost, Lacuna Coil and Backyard Babies, Lullacry will easily find its place in the heart of metal fans.

First track is a killer (Embrace Me). From the the first note 'till the last one, you immediately have this feeling of being in front of the next big thing ... and of course we have in mind Nightwish or The Gathering, even though these bands have nothing in common in term of music, but they have a female front-man ....ooops sorry ;-).

The major innovation is coming on track number 10th (Thorn Of The Rose), where the classical Gothenburg guitar sound (At The Gates or In Flames of course) rolls with the magnificent voice of Tanya. Be My God is a very cool CD for open mind metal fans who wants to listen to some "softer things". Atmospheric, heavy, melodic and somehow very rock !

Now between you and me, Paradise Lost has opened the path a long time ago and many bands are now walking on this path.
Not really innovative ... but really effective. To be confirmed !!!
