King's X Doug says, "I write so much music that King's X can't do it all". Yeah why not, but I also think that "too much" doesn't mean good stuff. I mean what are we talking about here: Grunge? Psychedelic rock? All in one pass in a mixer or what?

Ok, I can understand the need to write music for some musicians (like an alcoholic who needs to drink), but unless the music is fully decrypted before, this type of sound is simply impossible to be digested, unless you have the same mood as the original songwriter.

Interesting parts exist in this Pineaplleskunk and I like to compare Doug with Devin Townsend as both musicians are genius. Now on this one (full of 16 groovy and crazy tracks), I do not follow Doug. I have try believe me, but this is simply too complicated for my brain. Melodies are not legions by the way and the grunge atmosphere is also too predominant on this record.

Try before as you have to be a fan of psychedelic music. I really prefer King's X music, which reminds so much the Beatles, but here, except a formidable headache, I am still outside Poundhound's world.

"Sometimes I smoke too much and burn out from my trip..." taking from first track Somedays.

Killing Songs :
None ... sorry ;-(
