I was excepting too much from this release. Can you imagine Soilwork and Darkane have merged together (some members of course) to create a new trash metal band called ... Terror 2000. With such members and such a name, my brain has created an image and this type of image is almost always better than reality (this is called imagination). But as I said, I was expecting too much : I didn't say it is a bad album. Far from that.
It's a bombastic trash metal album like ... Darkane & Soilwork's previous records. Aggressive, direct, "speedy",
no pause ... as for Darkane & Soilwork's music. And I guess this is where I am a bit disappointed.
It is too conventional, too predictable.
Of course when I listen to other band surfing on "this trash revival"wave, the main different with Terror 2000 and other "opportunist" bands, is talent. And usually with talent comes good music, good songs and headbanging moments. And Terror 2000 has a lot of talent. Again for a first shoot it is a good one. A must for "trash" fans.
