What a nice surprise. It's been along time that I listened to a great Hard Rock album reminding me Bon Jovi love songs so much.

This Language Of The Heart is really what the title implies, songs written by someone deeply in love, I can tell that much ;). The songs are extremely catchy, full of loving emotions, from catchy rhythmed song to ballads and mid tempo, all songs are deep and very melodic. The first song What I've Got Is Real is a killer of killers in its own field of course : the perfect fast paced love song. So is the album entitled song Language Of The Heart, a perfect love ballad. The overall music is very calm, very basic drumming, quiet atmosphere, with a few rockin' riffs then and there, and very catchy melodies and choruses with an excellent vocal performance. The vocals are sweat and deep in the same time, and from them emanates a fistful of emotions and that's what I like most about this album.

So okay, it's not very original, probably heard a thousand times before, but when it's that melodic and played that much from the heart, it always touches me. For fans of quieter type of metal like Bon Jovi, Haywire or Dare. A great album : melodic, warm, love intoxicating and touching... Thumbs up !
