Belgium has tons of great beer but you'll be amazed (and ashamed) to see what crap beer most Belgians settle for.

That used to be the case. These days plenty of young people are learning to appreciate quality beers. Stella used to be the top seller in the bar I run with some friends, nowadays you see a lot of Vedett being drunk too, but mainly people have switched over to Duvel and the various trappist beers we have on offer, as well as the monthly micro-brewery specials we do. It's what we here call the Duvel revolution: the popularity in recent years of this strong beer sparked the interest of many people in stronger stuff.

Been drinking this white beer pretty much all summer. So refreshing and tasty!

Can't successfully keep a black and tan pour separate. It may be the density of the beers. Doing Young's Double Chocolate stout over top of Wells' banana bread beer. That's right. A double chocolate banana bread black and tan. It's pretty tasty. My bottle of Souther Tier Krampus wasn't cold from when I bought it at the store earlier.

ok well beer is something I never really cared for until about eighteen months ago (bad experience with some dreadful ones)

the two beers that almost ruined booze for me

West End Draught (it's Australian unfortunately) pretty much the WORST...BEER...EVER
or so I thought until I was subjected to the horror of Fosters

what turned me onto beer was Crowne Lager which is my beer of choice now

other then that I've enjoyed Kingfisher (I would never have guessed the Indians could make a good beer) and Singha (same as above but insert thais um is that right?)

man I have got to get some variety in my beer

Current favourite:

Troubadour Magma, a deeply red amber beer. Extremely tasty even after a long night of drinking, and ridiculously dangerous with its 9° of alcohol which you hardly notice between all the deliciousness. If you get the opportunity to drink one of these, don't hesitate.
