Me and a group of friends get together once every two weeks or so and play a good 6 hours of strategy board games. We get really into it and there's serious trash talking involved. Combined with a few beers and some highly competative NHL Arcade on the PS3 and it's the fucking best. Lately we've been playing Dominion a whole lot. It's basically a card game but you build your own deck during the game, it's really cool.
Sounds like alot of great times man. I haven't heard of Dominion, I'll have to check it out. I agree it gets expensive, I used to visit local hobby stores to help keep the poor guys going but some just overprice things a bit to much, so I tend to buy all my stuff(rpg & wargame) online cause the deals are so much better. I can't tell how much I've saved on that.
@ The Silent Man: Nice job dude, I hate when people do that shit, though I have yet to play DS, it sounds like it would suck majorly having to worry about some laggy prick trying to take me down while trying to get past the a.i. too. Can you tell if someone joins your game in advance?
