Raven wroteheatseeker wroteHoly shit. I started Mass Effect the other day and it's fucking awesome...And Oblivion is an amazing game, recommended to anyone...actually, it might be my favorite game ever. I really want to start playing it again but for now I'm addicted to Mass Effect...
I'm not much of a RPG player because pf my incredibly short attention span when it comes to RPG's. Is Oblivion (Elder Scrolls IV) something that may finally pull me into the world of RPG's?I picked up a promotional booklet at Gamestop the other day and I read a piece in it on Mass Effect. That game looks incredible. I'm glad to hear that you like it so much. That helps solidify my purchase of the game. I was also leaning toward picking up Gears Of War. Have you played that one yet? That looked cool.Does anyone know anything about The Orange Box? I know it has a bunch of games in it that look damn interesting. It's on sale this week at BestBuy for $39.99. Is it worth it to pick it up while it's on sale?
I'd recommend all of those games, except Oblivion, I'm not a fan. Morrowind is cool though. Anyway, The Orange Box is amazing, it has got Half-Life 2: Episode Two, I'm not sure if it's any fun if you haven't played the previous games. Then it has got Portal, which is one of the funniest games released in a long time, it's a puzzle game though, not a shooter. Also, you get Team Fortress 2, an awesome multiplayer game.
Mass Effect is game of the year if you ask me, it has got some issues though, like a lot of loading times and a generally slow performance. Still, if you have any interest in science-fiction, you'll most likely love it.
