Good one, V. Black people crying without a context is just awkward. That one of Jesse Jackson might actually be from 2008 and in which case it's kinda sweet, as Kerry King put it, it was a great moment when black kids realized that they actually could grow up and be the president. However, what makes the tumblr so funny is the weird mixing of normal disappointment from politics with the whacky "we're all gonna die, world is ending" bollocks in which case it is no different than loling at eschatological moments of Christianity. It's a weird look into conservative culture. The kids dressed up in suits was just so foreign to me.

You can pretend that it is all about "a weird look into conservative culture" all you want, but I can guarantee if Obama lost and someone made a tumblr about blackpeoplemourningobama with snarky commenary, you'd be the first to say how uncool it is.

I would never support Romney, but there are people that are legitimately worried about the course this country is taking, but you guys always make it about race, and when it gets thrown back into your faces, you get all indignant, saying things like "I really don't see the point you're making. Two completely unrelated things".

It's not hypocritical. Race is actually centered around unfairness. Portrayals of raced individuals bears particular investments not present in portrayals of white folk. Not sure when I made it about race, but that's cool.

Edit: because I said Aryans? I guess that's a racial comment, but blonde hair and blue eyes takes on a very interesting dynamic when contemporary conservative rallies look a lot like the 90s' depiction of Neo nazi groups in television and movies.

Biological evidence? Not really existent. Regardless of that, though, structural policies and treatment of certain individuals wouldn't be tied to biology insofar as they are grounded in law.
