North_From_Here Goat wroteRayner Coss is back in Mithras! Those who hate the new Morbid Angel can expect some consolation early next year. Good to hear.
noodles Shadow Kingdom Records is pleased and proud to present this amazing piece of metal history. Hammers Of Misfortune is a band who we’re all pretty familiar with now and if you’re not familiar with them, then you probably will be soon because they just signed over their back catalog to Metal Blade Records. Unholy Cadaver is basically pre-Hammers Of Misfortune. Anyone who was fortunate enough to hear the 3 song Unholy Cadaver demo is in for a treat because this release contains all of their material, a lot of which has never been leaked until now. The music is very unique Epic / Traditional Heavy Metal with Black Metal influences. They’re a one of a kind band and if you’ve heard Hammers Of Misfortune – The Bastard album, these songs are very much like that album and arguably better. The release has an entire history of the band, band photos, lyrics, and also this is a very unique release because this is a Double LP with a CD inside. The vinyl and CD have been individually mastered so (just to be clear) the music on the vinyl has been indeed mastered for vinyl and the CD inside was mastered for CD. shit omg there's even songs on the internet! http://www.myspace.com/shadowkingdomrec ... s-50125979
noodles Because John Cobbett is the fucking man and everything he touches is gold and it's a whole new (to me) album of songs by him. (Downside is both those songs mostly growly vox)
The_Annoying_Frenchman I admit Scalzi was really missing on HoM's Fields/Church of Broken Glass. Still, if there are songs like Butchertown and the Fields trilogy, I will not complain one bit.
noodles Their new singer sounds better than the guy from Fields/Church of Broken Glass so I think that'll be good. this is him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g25sio0ZxqU

Milan One of the better folk/viking metal bands as far as I'm concerned. I've only heard their debut though. To be released at the end of july-beginning of august.
Goat Karmakosmonaut wroteSays who? Tyler? You'll have to wait and see... considering it'll be me that writes it up, the possibilities are pretty much endless!
The_Annoying_Frenchman If the music sounds anything like the cover looks, it should be interesting.
AlexandeR Life is short, time is gold, why waste it in Limp Bizkit... I'm mostly open minded, but one thing I can't stand is rapping in metal
Goat Then clearly you need some Body Count, Body Count bitch. In other news, the new Mastodon will be called "The Hunter". And will be given a score of 90 / 100 by whoever reviews it here, despite it being wildly overrated (or so I predict).
The_Annoying_Frenchman Never could understand the rave about Mastodon. I find their music quite boring actually... :lame:
noodles Mastodon are ok. I like them but don't listen to them that often and feel a bit of resentment that they're the most popular/praised sludge metal band.
