noodles It's quite different from Beacons. Not really metal at all. Very pretty and soothing post-rock kinda tunes with acoustic guitar bits in between.

bloodpet64 To me this year is basically over. 2011 has been a very slow year for metal that's for sure but im not saying there weren't a good handful of good albums.
DevotedWalnut It's funny how some people say its been a slow year for metal where others say its been one of the best ever. As for me, I'd say I'm in between. Bought lots of death metal this year.
