Mike The Atomic Bitchwax: The Local Fuzz - A 45 minute super riff filled jam that is worth every bit of the $5 they ask for on their website. The music is somewhere between Edgar Winter's 'Frankenstein' and Liquid Tension Experiment.
dead1 Rather predictable Melodic DM with typical growled verse, clean chorus set up. Some of it's quite catchy and fun and some of it reminds me of the soundtracks for Sonic the Hedgehog. Kinda like what Soilwork should've done after Natural Born Chaos.

I totally agree with your take on the album. Enjoyable, but typical. If you have not listened to them, Pitch Black Progress is an improvement on the same formula, and Holographic Universe is where they peak. That album is pretty much non stop hooks and riffs.

Mike This sounds like an entire album of early Iron Maiden instrumentals like Transylvania and Genghis Khan but a bit slowed down. Really awesome!!
