Edit: I may be really wrong on it being a Middle Eastern influence, but it has an Eastern vibe to it of methodical chanting and minimalism with some strings behind it in the first track.

Edit: You're right. I'm hearing GiG album on their myspace and there are definitely strong influences in terms of melody. However, that would be quite apt due to the their name coming from Hinduism.

If all you listened to was God is Good, then you might have been missing out. Advaitic Songs and Pilgrimmage are where they really shine. But yeah, the sound isn't overly different so if you didn't like the style then you're not going to be sold on it.
