I don't get into very much black metal but this band is really great. They've built a great bridge between black metal and the stylings within the NWOBHM while retaining a rich 70's kind of production sound. There are also bits of 70's prog elements sprinkled throughout which make it a very interesting listen for sure. Their previous album Metazoa may be a bit better (or heavier) but this is some great stuff. I dig it.

I have the same feelings about this album, there are times I really want to like it but the Metallica worship tends to sour me a bit. However, they do nail it.

I just love the sound they create. A mix of NWOBHM with thrash/black/atmospheric/esoteric is a phenomenal sound composed by this highly original act. Certainly becoming a favourite!
