Allman says in an interview that it's the same driveway used in a scene from Forrest Gump where Gump runs as a child and his leg braces fall off. Upon more investigation it's a driveway going into Wormsloe Plantation in Savannah Georgia.

You're welcome. It's not too far away from where I live, perhaps a five or six hour drive. It definitely has a southern mystical etherealness to it that is really nice. I need to plan a trip to go visit it now.

I remember when this came out and everyone shit themselves over how it was amazing/the most overrated thing ever. Loved it at the time, still a damn good album and one Mastodon haven't beaten.

This album is a beast. Have not had the chance to listen to Blood Mountain yet.

I purchased it a while ago on Amazon, new, digipak, first pressing, but I paid a bit more for it.

The first Arcturus album plus what you have posted are classic symphonic BM. Although that goes without saying.

I just wish they would go back to that style. What they're doing now sucks.

That EP is actually a re-release of their early ep and a bit of other bonus material, if you like their first album you could buy that EP's rerelease for 15 on Hells Headbangers. The original copy usually goes for 400$ and up as with their other eps.
