He was one of the first vocalists I heard that really got me appreciating this style of music when I heard Nevermore's this Godless Endeavor back in high school, this of course was way past his prime in Serpent's Knight and Sanctuary but even then he was a great singer. His material on Serpent's Knight's sole album is some of the best vocalwork I've heard in a long time, he sounds much better than even King Diamond.

It's an interesting theory Stefan. Just watch a few posts up and you'll find the cover of Burst - Lazarus. That bird too is suffering, with several arrows up his tiny ass.

We need to investigate with more profundity.
