DevotedWalnut I saw it several years ago, but not lately. so, even though I know it is a classic I can't remember a damn thing about it. the guy I am moving in with has it on DVD, so I'll give it a watch sometime in the near future.

noodles Fear and Loathing isn't really comparable to Pineapple Express. PA is more of a traditional comedy where Fear and Loathing is a lot weirder (although still funny, in small doses).

Goat I liked Pineapple Express, and not because I am a massive stoner (which I'm not). James Franco is a great comic actor, and worked well with whatever the chubby Jewish fellow is called. Plus, no Will Ferrell! How can you lose? Bit odd to compare it to F&LiLV - because both have drugs? Let's also compare it to that godawful Daronofsky shite Requiem For OH GOD DRUGS ARE SO BAD.
