The action was on a much smaller scale, as it was mostly just people beating the shit out of each other in a ring, but the fights were filmed with more clarity than anything that was going on in The Expendables, which had too many action-obscuring quick cuts for my liking. Also, Scott Adkins is so goddamn diesel in this movie it's ridiculous. And there were no boring romantic subplots with Cordelia in the movie because it took place in maximum security Russian prisons.I should probably write about metal more on these metal forums, but I needed a place to rant about this movie.
i liked it too. it had some really bad parts - the whole "training while doing hard labour" was hilarious, as was the two guys initially bonding over one of them being stuck in solitary and really needing to take a shit :lol:, plus lines like "LET ME FIGHT I WANT TO FIGHT!" and the guy limping all the time but suddenly forgetting his injury the moment he stepped onto the ring....
the fight scenes with Boyka and the Colombian were awesome (as they were in Undisputed 2, have't seen 1 yet), and yeah Scott Adkins is a total badass.
i think Undisputed 1 and 2 are must-watch for anyone who liked fighting movies.
