Yeah, Pau has much to learn from soccer players.This embarrassing behavior and the tendency for certain teams to play for draws is all that really keeps me from embracing the sport. Problem is those obstacles aren't going anywhere.
I suspect the problem is you're American, and Americans will probably never accept the sport because 1.) They suck at it, 2.) They are much to involved with sports that only they compete in, and 3.) Many Americans believe it to be an "immigrant's sport" and want no part of it.
One day Americans will realize that you can't call yourself a world champion (NBA, MLB, NFL, etc.) until the rest of the world competes against you.
So blame the flopping all you want, but honestly, have you watched a basketball game. You can't even look at somebody cross-eyed without drawing a foul. Football (soccer) involves crunching tackles with limited proteciton. So for every three floppers, there are 4 who just got fuckin wrecked.
