video reviews are hard to implement, although i agree that they would not fundamentally change the way people play (the difference is now if you cheat you're more likely get caught), one thing that i've been saying for fucking years now is that GOAL LINE TECHNOLOGY should be implemented. it involves no judgment (it's objective) and it's immediate (no pauses required in the game).
what happened today may have been good for football in the long run: maybe NOW they'll implement GLT... although they'll probably use extra referees instead, facepalm.
