hmm, i think Benfica can beat Espanyol but it'll be really hard against Werder or AZ.

and anyways, we just took a step forward for the Portuguese title! this Saturday FC Porto (current leaders) lost at home to Sporting Lisbon, and today Benfica won their match, putting us just 1 (one!) point behind Porto! and guess what our next game is? that's right, FC Porto at the Stadium of Light (hey, that rhymes)!

we depend only on ourselves to become champions, i hope Benfica can take the pressure.

i didn't catch that, but i did see the match summaries for Man United x Boro and Tottenham Hotspur x Chelsea.

Cristiano Ronaldo won the penalty kick and scored, and that ASSHOLE Morrison from Middlesborough almost broke his leg with a brutal tackle. piece of shit. did the little baby get pwned by Ronaldo's mad skillz?

as for Chelsea, did anyone see the goals? two great goals from Andriy Shevchenko and Wright-Phillips. Sheva's was particularly awesome.

Lee Bowyer handles the ball, has a shot, which is stopped on the line by Tevez, who was standing in an offside position and the cunt of a linesman gives a goal! Handball, offside, didn't cross the line, and we lose 2-1. :mad:

Also, Rangers got papped out of Europe by Osasuna, but at least we swept Aberdeen away with ridiculous ease on Saturday to go 7 points clear in second place.

Manuel Fernandes, born and bred at Benfica, he was injured and we loaned him to England where he could grow as a player and take care of his injury.

just look at that, fucking amazing. it sucks that he's unlikely to return to Benfica, the Premiership is better than the Portuguese league in every aspect... benfica were stupid to include the option to buy him for 12 million € in the loan contract, Everton would have to be fucking idiots to pass up on that chance.

Yeah, it's 1-1, I just checked. Finland haven't lost a game yet... 🙁 I can't root for Switzerland cuz we automatically qualify. But whatever, we beat Jamaica 2-0 with Frei as our new captain.

actually Stijnen never said the words the press said he did, but still it was unfit for a national team player. yeah, he's pretty good for his age and he played a decent game, despite the four goals. Too bad Tchité didn't play(i don't know if he chose to play for belgium yet but meh) very decent striker and lightning fast. Sterchele played a decent job but the missed chance was something to be ashamed about. I'm dissapointed in Van Buyten though.

yeah, it was a huge miss by Sterchelle. the portuguese defense fucked up in that play, but they had an otehrwise solid performance.

and yeah, i expected Van Buyten to put on a better performance. also things could've been different in Emile Mpenza had played.
