Anybody who rotates the team is definitely doin a big mistake. Many times Liverpool have played well in a match, but then Rafa switches a few players for the next one, ending up with poor results. I understand he has many star players to please but he has to think for the team's benefit. If the present team plays well, keep them. Why mend something that's not broken? If some players are unhappy that they're not getting much game time, ask them to work harder or show them the back door.
This is probably the reason I have so much respect for Sir Alex over other managers. He's a strict disciplinarian. Whatever he visuals, he materializes them. There's no room for underplayed players to whine because he is after all, the iron fisted Blowdryer. He makes sure each of the 11 starters earn their places the hard way. There's no room for slack on his team.
I personally feel all managers should look to Sir Alex as a mentor. They HAVE to. With the amount the players are paid these days is just pampering enough. Make them slave for every penny they earn.
As much as I'm embarassed to admit this as a Liverpool fan, it's the truth. Man Utd are the best team not because they have great players, but instead they have the best manager in town.
