Switzerland x Portugal - bad game. Portugal's B side dominated the first half and had a goal wrongly disallowed, plus the referee blatantly ignored two penalties over Nani.
we were crap in the second half, though, aside from Nani's shot on post. the only reserves who impressed me were Nani and HĂ©lder Postiga (although i can't imagine him facing a tougher defense, as will be the case from now on). Miguel Veloso was crap, and Ricardo makes me nervous every time the ball comes near him.
Turkey x Czech Republic - what can i say? well done Turkey. that makes two hard-fought turn-arounds for Turkey, showing some real grit. some luck on the second goal (poor Cech), but great finishing in the third. i hope Portugal and Turkey meet again in the semi-finals.
