i used to root for Porto in Europe, but lately their fans have truly sunken to new depths in terms of being completely obnoxious, petty and hateful, so you know what? fuck porto. i hope man united, who i also dislike, completely destroy and humiliate them.

sadly, my dream Liverpool x Barcelona final won't be happening. rooting for one of them to win this, anyway, and since the final will probably be arsenal/united vs barça/liverpool one thing is for sure: it'll be a great match.

Porto: fuck! FUUUUUUUCK!! they're playing great football and can very well eliminate United if they don't bring their a-game to the second leg in Portugal. hopefully, Ferdinand will be back and Tevez will start. if Porto go through i can seriously see them eliminating Arsenal (imo the likely winner vs Villarreal) and making the final. there, anything can happen... shudder

Barça: CRUSHING! my favourites, and with very good reason, to win the champions league. demolished Bayern, evne though they're in bad shape now it seems (they lost 5-1 to Wolfsburg for the league).

Liverpool: OH COME ON! they'll have to score at least 3 goals at Stamford Bridge, things look very complicated for Gerrard & Co. you can't dismiss them just yet, but the odds are stacked against them.

Porto x Arsenal - united have been underperforming in the Premiership, i'm praying they get back on their feet by next week.
Barça x Chelsea

Totally agree on the point on Liverpool. I didn't watch the game as it was on at 3am and I have work today. Have (present tense) because I'm still AT work and it's 10.45pm. FUCK! Anyway I learned about the score from a colleague and frankly, I saw it coming. Why? Because every time Rafa opens his mouth, it ends up catastrophic. Remember when he questioned Drogba's ability as a player last season? Who is Drogba? Yeah, he's the guy who scored the opening goal against the Reds, you fool. Urgghh!!

Liverpool will not make it.

Barça is incredible... and Xavi & Iniesta, the key...
Yesterday all 10 players made a hell of a match (Valdes was an spectator), specially in first part.
I don't see any team beating Barça at home, and I think we can beat Chelsea, but in Roma everything can happen... But I still have Manchester as the fav to get to the final against Barça.

The final should be Chelsea vs Barca, it's a shame. I prefer Arsenal over Manchester. And congratulations for Barca hinchas, truly exquisite football they're displaying.

dunno, United have been crap lately (by their standards anyway), winning by the minimum margin and not exactly dominating their matches, while Arsenal are looking more solid and haven't conceded in the Emirates stadium yet.

Barça are my favourites, but Chelsea are no joke, especially since Guus Hiddink started managing them (the man is a genius).

if they went for attack they may well have been fucked just like Real (although like i said, their shitty defending didn't help either). Chelsea were no less physical than Barça and held their own in defense, so they were able to bring the decision to Stamford Bridge.

hope Arsenal win today, but don't think it'll happen. many important players are injured it seems.

Gallas, Silvestre and Clichy were out on injury i think, and Arshavin wasn't eligible as he had already played european matches for Zenit St. Petersburg.

hope Barça win it today, but it'll be hard imo, Chelsea are a very tough opponent.

so Barcelona won. i was rooting for them but like Drogba said "this is a fucking disgrace". there was a very clear penalty against Barcelona that the referee somehow didn't catch (Piqué handled the ball).

Chelsea defended very well (Barça's only shot on goal was when Iniesta scored) and created several chances, besides playing good football. i like Barça but their whining after the Nou Camp match was ridiculous, for once they met a defence they couldn't breach and they almost wet their pants. Chelsea proved in Stamford Bridge that they could play great football, and they deserved to go through looking at both matches.

now i don't know. Barça play the best football in Europe but i hated how they eliminated Chelsea, on the other hand i simply hate United and they can go fuck themselves as far as i'm concerned.
