Interesting indeed, but I found most of the author's own conclusion to sound like completely nonsensical alarmist bullshit. I just sat there waiting for him to say something like "Facebook is the NWO's new tool to control the population" but thank god that didn't happen...

Edit: And I really don't know what that philosophy stuff had to do with anything. Damn if I had the time I would pick that article apart, he sounds like one of those guys who hate Facebook (or everything else for that matter) just because it's so incredibly popular. It's just an internet community for Christ's sake, get over it...

I have personally found out that the internet enriches your social life, with IM you can pull girls you otherwise never could have. (obviously local ones you n3rds)
