Often have I thought that it is quite a pity that I am too square-minded to believe in reincarnation. There are so many cool animals that I would like to be reborn as.
Perhaps a mosquito. Just flying around on summer eves with the purpose of stalking mankind, ripe for disease, until they have to withdraw from their little gardens with their barbecues and beers. There are so many people I would like to infect with malaria: George Bush, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, P Diddy, Eminem, the pope, Anders Fogh etc. etc.
Perhaps an African elephant. Walking around in the sunrise, with my big ears waving in the breeze, submerged in deep thoughts, well knowing that should anyone have the audacity of disturbing my morning stroll I could break their bodies with little effort. A lifespan as long as that of man, but so much more meaningful.. Being able to scratch myself on the back with my trunk.. Hmm..
Perhaps a dolphin. The only animal -besides man- known to engage in sexual intercourse for the fun of it (and almost without foreplay, weee). Swimming playfully around in the vast ocean, screwing and eating fresh fish. Sounds appealing too..
I think I'll go with the elaphant.. What would you be reborn as if you could choose freely?
