What happened?
Korn got accepted into the Archives. Of course everyone thought it was a joke, but then some interesting stuff happened.
They had a very well-made page with their full discography (including singles/demos/EPs and stuff like that), lyrics to every song, line-up information and a lot of trivia. Whoever made the page spent a lot of time on it.
Apparantly, every moderator, without exception, was in on the joke. Some of them were for it, others were against it. Drama ensued on the forums as people started to believe that it wasn't a joke.
One of the "main" moderators announced his resignation. This was probably the point where many people started to believe that it was for real, because I've been a lurker over there for years, and that guy is probably the most cynical and overtly serious person on the internet. No one thought he would take part in something like that.
Eventually everything turned out to be a big frigging hoax (the hilarious announcement is probably still up on the main page :lol: ), but still, it's probably the most elaborate April Fools joke I've ever seen, and many regulars made themselves look really stupid in the process. [/i]
