I hate how when a non-american horror film that involves or is centred around torture of some kind comes out on DVD, and theres always a quote or blurb on the front that says (e.g. for Frontier(s)) 'the french answer to Hostel and Saw'. I mean, sure I like both those movies, but they aren't the goddamn benchmark for all to be compared to.

I feel like such a chump right now. A couple nights ago, I had an unexpected dream that I met circa-1995 Shirley Manson in person. Interestingly, she was actually quite bitchy/mean-spirited in my dream.
