I think the Alien thing is actually supposed to be a prequel of some sort, which bothers me much less than an out-and-out remake does. But still Hollywood, what the fuck, come on. You already did Halloween, please lay off the remakes of some of my other favorite movies
edit: oh, and Kurt Wimmer (Equilibrium, Ultraviolet) is remaking Total Recall.
