Okay, so I'm trying to get MSN Messenger thingy and every time I try to log in, it says that I either have no internet, or that my firewall's blocking it. I turned off my firewall, but it still won't let me on. I'm troubleshooting, but it's not going anywhere in a hurry.

Hey all, we've begun working on new songs for the next record while we take a break from touring. So far 2 songs are started and basically structured. We are once again pushing ourselves into new terroritory and harmonic possiblities. I also want to incorperate more acoustic guitar work into the material. I say we are heading in a darker and heavier direction as well. Still in the early stages but I can't help thinking ahead.Also, I [Kevin] have begun writing and recording with a new band that features:Bruce Lamont [Yakuza] on saxophoneBrett Bamburger [East of the Wall/Day Without Dawn] on bassCharlie Zeleny [Behold... the Arctopus] on drumsThere is no name yet [can you think of anything good?, send me some!] but we've finished 2 songs so far and will continue in the coming months when time makes itself available. What we have so far is hard to explain but it doesn't sound much like any of our respective bands, though they are traces... Stay tuned.

ok, i just saw the gayest thing on tv.

there's some religious thing happening here in Portugal so loads of people are heading to the Fátima sanctuary (where some dude tried to kill pope JP II a few years ago). Fátima is 123km north of Lisbon btw.

some of them walk there and stuff. anyway, there's this guy who calls himself a "promise payer", for around 2000€ he walks to the sanctuary in the name of whoever paid him and lights up a few candles.

i don't know who's worse, the people who can't live up to their "promises" or the guy who charges to "fulfil" them for them.
