my friend asked me to ask any americans here this question, it's kinda important so that's why i post it on two threads:
What's the best place for beach, sun and sea? California (San Diego and San Francisco) or Florida (Fort Lauderdale)?
he's seriously considering going to the USA to study, some multimedia design thingy. he's undecided between the Academy of Art University (San Fran) and the Art Institute (Ft. Lauderdale and San Diego). and btw, do these unis have a good reputation?
he told me the Art Institute didn't even ask for the TOEFL because they think his e-mails show he's comfortable with english (yet anyone could have written them) and that all they want is an essay. dunno, makes me think of one of those pseudo-universities like we have here in portugal. i don't want him to waste 4 years and loads of money seeking a bogus degree.
