Dustin Brown is definitely an inconsistent player, when he gets away from simple north south hockey he can be a disaster. When he was rumored to be on the trading block it was definitely warranted to some degree, he wasn't playing well at all. Right now he's playing undoubtedly the best hockey of his career. He always brings it physically but I've never seen him put all aspects of his game together like this before.
Everything is just going the Kings way right now, everyone is finding ways to contribute. Dwight King with 5 goals, Dustin Penner becoming good at hockey again, the bottom 6 just killing opponents with their forecheck and heavy cycling, Doughty excelling in a shutdown role.. It's across the board, everyone has elevated their game.
