Azrael liked the book but maybe the series is better. a lot of the architectural shit went over my head in written form, maybe the series or whatever does a better job.
EdgeOfForever Read them. It's an epic where you get to follow several people throughout their entire lives. I don't think you can get the same emotional bond with characters in a miniseries.

Metastable_To_Chaos Yeah, I'm only on Season 3 right now. It is very good overall but there do seem to be a couple episodes where basically nothing happens.

traptunderice Watched the pilot of Hell on Wheels. I heard it starts slow and gets better, but this wasn't bad. The dialogue was a little too high school textbook for me, but it shows promise. I doubt it will fill the Deadwood vacuum in my heart but it's a start.
