That's your problem. Read the books to get the full aspect of what is going on. But you won't cause you're too good for that kind of thing.
In a nutshell, you're right. I pondered it over the summer but a lady friend whose opinion I trust insisted how awful they were and so I never attempted. Nor would I have the time now, nor the desire to start up a series that the writer might not finish.
At least you an care about characters in GoT, Walking Dead you don't give 2 shits about anybody because nothing ever happens.
I care about Tyrion, Shae and Bronn. And that's about it. And combined I don't care about them as much as I care about Daryl from WD, and in terms of nothing happening, when something does happen it usually involves Daryl's arrows or him throwing a knife into a zombie's eye.
This thread has been awkward the last few days insofar as I'm being overly critical of shows that I rather enjoy.
