we were talking about old cartoons, and one of the shows that came up was that Oliver Tsubasa one (about a young japanese football prodigy). following that, someone mentioned another cartoon about football, and that's why i'm posting this:
it was a show about a retired football reporter, and in each episode he'd tell his grandkids about some legendary match, player or episode, including: the 1966 world cup final, the munich disaster and subsequent recovery, EusΓ©bio and the 1966 Portuguese national team, Maradona and his performance against England in 1986 (i think) and the 1970 world cup final.
i also remembered that show, but i never caught the title or anything. it was awesome (and some of you probably noticed how i'm a football history nerd)!! does anyone remember this show? please!!
