The hardcore influence is very strong on RiB and the album's chaotic, breakneck pacing is right in line with that. The technical execution may not be on the same level as a Dark Angel or a Coroner but I hear solid thrash riffs all over this album. Honestly, the unclean guitars and off key tonalities only add to the record's dark, hellish quality...and that's a very good thing.Now that you mention it, I haven't listened to Morbid Saint in quite a while. Will have to take care of that.
