In November Leeds Uni has Damnation Festival. Good lineup:
Carcass, Cathedral, Napalm Death, My Dying Bride, Sigh, Onslaught, Berzerker, plus many smaller bands. Also including Pitchshifter who are conspicuously not a metal band but probably would be fun to see nonetheless.
