Exodus/Rob Zombie/Slayer
Slayer played nearly all stuff from their classic albums (up to an including Seasons of the Abyss), and I have got to say, nothing really beats a Slayer show for pure headbanging. Tom Araya sounded great, and the classic line-up is soooo tight live. I got two tickets to our company box seat, and my brother and I had plenty of room to go crazy. By the end of it, we were both soaked in sweat, with my brother looking like he stepped out of the shower.
Rob Zombie was good for the chicks, basically it's like dance metal set to boobie cartoons (plenty of skin on the movie set behind him). I can dig it live.
Exodus was really good as well.. not as neck snapping as Slayer, but they plenty of decent songs. They even got the crowd to do a Wall of Death .. which was very cool to watch. I think a few people got carried off on stretchers.
Here's to "Slayer neck" :dio:
