Ok just listened to some of the songs. Not bad. but again, I cannot overstress the fact that this type of music has been beaten to death for me. It's strange because I tend to like music that is devoid of any modern influence....but these new thrash bands suffer greatly from the fact that they are adding absolutely nothing new...nothing at all. So when the 80's thrash metal bands were churning out riffs that had been used in the NWOBHM, the new thrash metal bands are pumping out not just second generation used riffs....but currently, I'd argue they're pumping out fourth generation hand me downs. A copy of a copy of a copy of a copy....will by its very nature look...and in this case, sound...like shit.
So Criptofonia is not bad...There's some interesting stuff on there, but like all new thrash metal bands...I just don't have the patience to sit through riffs that I've heard in 4 to 5 other songs. Nice try however. I do like how the vocals are sung in Spanish.
